The most common type of acne that attacks children is the brusions on the face. This brunt is small and petrified streaks scattered on the entire surface of the skin. Why can a child get pimples? Causes of acne in children can also appear, the following explanation:

1. Prickly heat

Children who are growing up are generally very active in their daily lives. No matter the weather is scorching hot, the kids keep doing activities with such vibrant school and play. All child activity causes their sweat production to be high. The high production of sweat and the constant exposure to solar heat gives rise to prickly heat in children. Prickly rash like red rashes scattered throughout the skin surface such as face, back, chest, and thighs.

In severe conditions, the prickly heat will be inflamed and fester. Prickly heat not only affects only children but also adults.

2. Impetigo

Impetigo can also cause acne in children. Impetigo is a highly vulnerable skin infection that affects children. The disease is also contagious. Impetigo generally affects the face, arms and legs. Impetigo skin infections cause the child's skin to form small nodules (pustules) that can blister at any time. If the pus is blistered about the other part of the skin or on the skin of another person, then the affected skin will also have the same infection.

The duration of the disease is not long, only 1 to 3 days with proper treatment.

3. Boils caused by bacteria

Acne ulcers are the most common type of attack on children. Boils can develop into acne if it contains with pus. Ulcers in children are usually caused by bacterial infections of Staphylococcus aureus type. Not only attack the face, ulcers are also vulnerable to attack the body part of a hairy child, hidden, and often sweating like the armpits, thighs and buttocks.

This type of bacteria specifically attacks the hair follicles and the skin of a child is scratched or injured.

4. Milia

Milia is a congenital condition of the child from birth. Many children who are born with skin conditions there are white spots on his face. These spots are called Milia. Milia attacks the child due to clogged pores of keratin, a protein produced by the skin. But Milia usually will soon disappear a few weeks after the birth of a child.

5. Red rash

Red rash in infants and children is usually caused by two things: a rash due to milk and diapers. A rash caused by milk causes the child's skin to flush, but will disappear within a few days. While diaper rash is a redness on the baby's buttocks due to wet and moist diapers that are worn for too long. Severe rash can cause the skin of the child to swell, blister, and dry. The diaper rash will heal if smeared with a special ointment for the rash. However, if a severe child rash, you should take it to the doctor to get the right treatment.

6. Sebum from sweat glands

Just like the skin of an adult, the child's skin can also produce sebum. Sebum is produced by the skin glands in the deep layers. Sebum grows into acne if it rises up through the skin pores. At puberty, in particular, the child will experience an increase in hormones that trigger an increase in sebum production.
